Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Mahomet Public Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our library's services, programs, and events to the community. The Marketing Coordinator will also work closely with other staff members to develop engaging content for the library's website, social media platforms, and other communication channels. This position is ten hours/week with highly flexible hours. Most work may be done remotely as long as good communication is maintained. Pay is hourly and dependent on experience.

Evening/Weekend Library Clerk
We are seeking a part-time library clerk to serve our patrons two evenings per week, plus half days on Saturdays and Sundays (with every third weekend off). This position involves providing outstanding customer service to patrons at our public service desks and processing incoming and outgoing materials. The position will be open until filled. For best consideration, please submit your application by March 17, 2023.

Our Community
The Mahomet Public Library District serves Mahomet Township, Illinois, population 13,765, including the continuously growing Village of Mahomet. Our community provides the benefits of small town living, while located only 12 miles from the University of Illinois and all the cultural advantages provided by a major university.
Mahomet residents are active volunteers in the local schools, churches, and community organizations. The Mahomet-Seymour school district has award-wining athletic, music, and academic programs and the village offers a wide variety of extracurricular programs in the arts and sports through its Parks and Recreation department.
The 900-acre Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, with two lakes, several trails and picnic areas, a golf course, a botanical garden, and the Museum of the Grand Prairie, is nestled in the heart of our township. The River Bend Forest Preserve on the other side of the village offers the county’s largest lake and a multi-use trail through the forest. Mahomet is part of Champaign County, with 23 urban and rural communites and a wide variety of events and tourist attractions.
