Books, movies, music, and audiobooks are not the only items you can check out from the Library! You can also check out a ROKU streaming stick, board game, Yoto Player, hotspot, or laptop.

Roku Streaming Sticks
Each Roku Streaming Stick provides access to the following:
- One of our paid streaming services (Apple TV, BritBox, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Netflix, Paramount+, or Peacock)
- PBS Kids
- The Roku Channel
- The Library’s Movies Anywhere account, with access to hundreds of movie titles
ROKU Streaming Stick Checkout Limitations:
- These devices may only be checked out by patrons holding Mahomet Library cards. Patrons may only check out one streaming device PER HOUSEHOLD at a time.
- You may check the device out for one week.
- There are no renewals.
- Overdue fines will accrue at $1.00 per day.
- To request a ROKU stick, search our catalog and place a hold, or ask library staff for assistance.

Board Games
Check out a board game or two from the Library and have a family or friend game night! Browse the games on the shelves behind the copier at the Library or request one through our catalog.
Board Game Checkout Limitations:
- Patrons may check out up to two games at a time.
- You may keep the games for one week, with 3 renewals if no one else is waiting for the game.
- To request a board game, search our catalog and place a hold, or ask library staff for assistance.

Yoto Players
The Library has Yoto Player bundles and story card packs available for patrons to check out. Yoto players are screen-free audiobook players that use story cards to play content.
Yoto Player and Story Card Pack Information:
- Yoto Player bundles come with a player and a variety of pre-downloaded story cards. The story cards included with these players should NOT be downloaded to your own Yoto Player.
- Story Card packs that come in the black envelopes without players can only be downloaded to a patron’s personal Yoto Player. They should NOT be downloaded to library-owned players.
- When downloading a card from the Story Card pack to your personal player, your Yoto Player must be connected to WiFi.
Yoto Player and Story Card Pack Checkout Limitations:
- These devices may only be checked out by patrons holding Mahomet Library cards.
- You may check the Yoto Player bundle or Story Card pack out for one week.
- There are no renewals.
- You may place one hold at a time on a player or story card pack.
- You may only check out ONE Yoto Player bundle OR Story Card Pack PER HOUSEHOLD at a time.

Hotspots
The Library has five T-Mobile MiFi hotspots available for patrons to check out.
Hotspot Checkout Limitations:
- These devices may only be checked out by patrons holding Mahomet Library cards.
- You may check the device out for one week.
- There are no renewals.
- Hotspots are available on a first come, first served basis only. There are no holds.
- You and members of your household must wait 7 days between the time you return a hotspot device and check out another one.
- You may be blocked from checking out hotspots if you repeatedly return them late.
- Overdue fines will accrue at $1.00 per day.
- Hotspots must be returned in person to the circulation desk. Hotspots returned in the book drop may result in a $20.00 fine or cost of replacement if the item is damaged.

Laptop Computers
The Library has two laptops, with Microsoft Office installed, available for patrons to check out.
Laptop Checkout Limitations:
- These devices may only be checked out by patrons holding Mahomet Library cards.
- You may check the device out for one week.
- You may renew laptops 1 time.
- You may be blocked from checking out laptops if you repeatedly return them late.
- Overdue fines will accrue at $1.00 per day.
- Laptops must be returned in person to the circulation desk. Laptops returned in the book drop may result in a $20.00 fine or cost of replacement if the item is damaged.
