Corinne Kohler – Trustee

Corinne Kohler has lived in Mahomet since 1975, first in the Village, and now in the Township. She has had a library card since they first moved here. She grew up with at least a weekly trip to the library and spent many hours in different libraries over the years. She has a passion for reading and learning.

Corinne is a (semi) retired family physician who has spent their professional career working with the underserved and under accessed. She has a strong desire to see access and equity for all.

Corinne has watched the Mahomet Library grow and change through the years. She has always appreciated how they seek to serve the community and meet needs. She enjoys the variety of services, not just physical books, but other resources such as DVDs, audiobooks, board games, and the many events. She has used notary services, and DEFINITELY appreciates the pick up lockers.

Corinne looks forward to serving on the library board and contributing however she can to the library’s growth and success.
