Kristen Streeter was appointed to the Board in May 2019 to fill an open seat and was elected to a full term in 2021. Her term expires in 2025.
Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and her Master of Science degree from Western Illinois University. She is a certified athletic trainer and has practiced in a variety of settings including physician offices, secondary schools, and Division III and Division I collegiate athletics. Kristen has previously served in a volunteer capacity for the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association. She is employed by Carle Foundation Hospital as the Service Line Accreditation Coordinator – Orthopedics and also serves on the Board of Directors for Crisis Nursery in Urbana.
Kristen and her husband, Eric, moved to Mahomet in 2015 and have a son, Grant, who resides in Indianapolis IN. Kristen and her husband currently foster rescue dogs through Leia’s Hope Canine Rescue.
