Notary Public

COVID-19 and our Notary Public Service

During the COVID-19 crisis, our Notary Public Service is available by appointment only. Please call us at 217-586-2611 to set up an appointment.

The library offers Notary Public service at no charge. A Notary Public is on the premises during most of our open hours, but there are times one may not be available. We recommend calling to verify that a Notary will be available during the time you plan to come in.

Please bring the document(s) to be notarized and a valid photo ID. Please do not sign the document(s) until you are in the presence of the Notary Public
