For most of us, summer 2020 looks a little different than past summers. You may not spend the summer at the library, but we're excited to provide you with some fun things to do at home so that you can still spend the summer "with us"!
Summer Reading Programs
Join us for our summer reading program June 1- July 31. This year we'll have two reading programs - one for kids and one for teens/adults - so anyone is welcome to participate! Learn more on our Summer Reading Programs page.
Penpal with a Librarian
Send a letter to the library (1702 E. Oak St. Mahomet, IL 61853) and a librarian will write back to you! Ask for book recommendations or craft ideas or simply say hello.
Personalized Chalk Messages
Request a special hello from a friendly face at the library. Fill out our personalized chalk messages form and we'll create a message just for you! The message will also appear on our social media accounts.
Please note: Fulfillment takes about a week, weather and chalk suppy permitting.
Picture Book Request
Does your child like reading about animals? Fairy tales? Transportation? The library has picture books of various topics and we want to make it easy for you to get them! Fill out our picture book request form and pick a book subject category from a provided list. A staff member will pull 5 books from this category and place them on hold for you to pick up!
Please note: The normal hold time (1 week), check out period (3 weeks), and renewal limits (3 times) apply.
