Books. Audiobooks. DVDs. Magazines. Nearly everyone knows that the library has printed materials to borrow. But, there are many other ways to "engage with us" at the library!
Programs and Events
From story times and book clubs to arts, crafts, and speakers, the library offers a wide variety of programs for all ages. Find a full list of our upcoming programs on our events page! You can also receive a monthly update by subscribing to our library newsletter.
In addition to kid and family friendly programs, the Firm Foundations initiative is designed to create a community of support for children ages 0-5 and their parents and caregivers by promoting activities and practices proven to give children a strong start to a successful life -- a firm foundation.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Reading aloud to your child matters! Track the number of books you read through the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.
Picture Book Bundles
Does your child like reading about animals? Fairy tales? Transportation? The library has picture books of various topics and we want to make it easy for you to get them! Fill out our picture book request form and pick a book subject category from a provided list. A staff member will pull 5 books from this category and place them on hold for you to pick up!
Please note: The normal hold time (1 week), check out period (3 weeks), and renewal limits (3 times) apply.
Teen Book Boxes
Teens ages 13-19 can sign up for the library's Book Box subscription service. You will receive a box with a Young Adult title selected just for you, along with some fun treats, to enjoy!
Please note: You will need a valid library card to check out a Book Box.
