Contemporary Issues Book Club (via Zoom)

October 21, 2021, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Ages:
ADULT
Unlike book clubs that discuss a different title at each meeting, the Contemporary Book Club studies one book in depth over multiple sessions. This fall, they will discuss the book The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee.

The book club is moderated by Corrie Carlson and Mindy Spencer and they meet every other Thursday on Zoom. During each meeting, the group will have a facilitated discussion on a different section of the book.

Registration (beginning August 15) is required for each session.

We will send the Zoom link to those who have registered.

Book Club Dates and Discussion:

September 9: Chapters 1-2

September 23: Chapters 3-5

October 7: Chapters 6-8

October 21: Chapters 9-10, plus action items
