SUMMARY:Stargazing in Illinois
DESCRIPTION:Central Illinois is an excellent place to stargaze\, but it can be hard to know where to begin. We’ll talk about sky objects which can be seen from Central Illinois throughout the year and some free-to-use stargazing resources. We’ll also discuss the upcoming Geminid meteor shower\, which peaks in December and is visible from the nearby Middle Fork Dark Sky site. \nPresented by the University of Illinois Astronomy Department \nAll ages. Ages 14 and under should attend with an adult. Please register.
