Carrie Heimann was appointed to the board in May 2019 to fill an open seat. Her term expires in 2021.
After starting our family, my husband, Clint, and I moved to Mahomet in 2014. Analyst by day, wife and mother of 3 by night. . .my professional skills center around critical thinking, communication, and relationship building - enhanced by the adaptability and resourcefulness my children force me to get better at every day!
Although I work in the private sector now, what sometimes feels like a previous life included earning a Masters in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University and serving in roles within both the local and federal justice systems.
I have fond memories of Story Hours and Summer Reading Programs from my childhood and am grateful we live in a community with a Library that can offer even more for our residents and children.
