LINC: Libraries IN Cooperation (LINC) is an online catalog of over 95 libraries in East Central Illinois. Use LINC to order books, renew materials, or place holds on materials for delivery to your local library. Please note: when placing a request, you will be asked for your PIN NUMBER, which is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
I-SHARE: This is a catalog of materials in 45 Illinois libraries belonging to the Illinois Library Computer Systems Organization. It includes holdings and information for items in Lincoln Trail Library System, the University of Illinois and Eastern Illinois University.
INFOTRAC: Database of nearly 2 million periodical and journal articles, many of which are full-text. Mahomet Public Library patrons may access Infotrac from their home computers. Patrons should contact the library for their password.
LIBRARIANS’ INDEX TO THE INTERNET: A searchable, annotated subject directory of more than 14,000 Internet resources selected and evaluated by librarians for their usefulness to users of public libraries. LII is used by both librarians and the general public as a reliable and efficient guide to Internet resources.
FIRSTSEARCH: This is a collection of 14 databases available to Illinois residents through an Illinois State Library cooperative purchase. It includes business, health and education information, government documents, magazine citations and full-text articles. Call the library for help in accessing this information.
NOVELIST: A reader’s advisory database, Novelist is designed to help fiction readers of all ages find classic and popular novels to read. Having a problem accessing this site? Click here.
PHYSICIANS DESK REFERENCE ELECTRONIC LIBRARY: Information on over 4,000 drugs by brand and generic name, product and manufacturer categories. Includes a multiple drug interaction checker and full FDA approved product labeling.
FEDERAL TAX FORMS: Internal Revenue Service provides a site to search printable forms and publications and find information for individuals, businesses, non-profits and more. See “Illinois Resources” below for a link to Illinois state tax forms.

ILLINOIS GOVERNMENT INFORMATION (IGI): Web-based access enabling users to search or browse over 20,000 Illinois government sites.
ILLINOIS STATE TAX FORMS: The Illinois Department of Revenue provides a site to search printable forms and publications, state links, tax law changes and more.
STATEWIDE ILLINOIS LIBRARY CATALOG (SILC): A web-based catalog of all the public catalogs in library systems throughout Illinois. It provides both shelf status and interlibrary loan capabilities. Users can scope to their regional library system or to a specific type of library. For faster service and delivery, we recommend users always search the LINC catalog first and then resort to SILC if the item cannot be found locally.
ZIP CODE LOOKUP: Web site of the United States Postal Service that enables users to look up zip codes and “zip + 4” codes.
FUEL ECONOMY GUIDE: This web site allows side-by-side comparisons, and offers fuel-saving tips. It also contains vehicle-specific air pollution emissions information and safety ratings, and links to car buying web sites.
